Artistic Perspective
There’s always more than what meets the eye. A glance, a sensation, a fleeting moment — these are what draw me to the canvas. I don’t paint detailed views because they’re never entirely true. What I see and feel is only part of the story — I want everyone to discover their own meanings, shaped by their own experiences.
For me, the canvas is more than a surface; it’s my friend, therapist, and diary. Life moves fast. Moments of joy, change, excitement, or confusion come and go, often without time to capture them in words. But when I paint, those feelings settle into color and form. Each piece holds a memory, a sensation, a fragment of time that I can revisit.
Sometimes my paintings focus on small details — a glimpse, a sensation — but even then, there’s always something more: a perception of the moment. I believe art has the power to comfort, to hold space for reflection. But it isn’t always soft or sweet. Art, like theater, demands feeling. It stirs, confronts, and connects.
What you see in my paintings is yours to feel and interpret. I simply open the door.
